Tire Green

Ultimate Goal

On‑Site Tire Processing & Full Transparency

At Tire Green Company, we’re committed not just to collecting waste tires—but to transforming them responsibly right here in Spartanburg. Our ultimate goal is to process every scrap tire on‑site, minimize waste, and deliver complete accountability to you and to regulatory bodies.

1. Precise On‑Site Processing

  • 3‑Piece Cutting Technique
Each tire is carefully cut into three parts: two sidewalls are removed, and the central tread is separated.

  • Optimized Material Recovery
Sidewalls go to authorized recycling streams for steel and fiber reclamation.
Treads are stockpiled for downcycling—perfect for rubber mulch, playground surfaces, and industrial mats.

This hands‑on approach reduces transportation needs, lowers emissions, and ensures every component finds the right recycling or reuse pathway.

2. Scrap Tire Certification

  • Detailed Certification
After processing, we issue a Scrap Tire Certificate that lists:

    • Number of tires processed

    • Date of on‑site processing

    • Weight and disposition of each tire component

  • Instant Access
Digital and printed certificates are provided immediately—perfect for your records and for any audit requirements.

3. Compliance Reporting

  • DOT & DEP Notifications
Within 24 hours of processing, we electronically submit your tire data to:

    • South Carolina Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)

    • U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)

  • Local Municipality Updates
We also furnish summary reports to county and city waste management offices, keeping your community informed and compliant.

4. Why On‑Site Matters

  • Transparency & Trust
Witness every step of the process—no hidden handling or off‑site transfers.

  • Environmental Impact
Cutting on‑site slashes truck trips and associated emissions.

  • Regulatory Peace of Mind
Complete, timely reporting ensures you—and your community—stay in full compliance with state and federal mandates.
